How to establish a better workflow for healthy, mindful entrepreneurship
We all start somewhere. Every expert was once a beginner. I am definitely not the same person I was when I started photography. Through my journey as a photographer, I have encouraged people to be the hero of their own story. Everyone is the main character of their beautiful life, and you deserve to tell your story in a way that’s authentic to you! As a mentor for small business owners in creative fields, my goal is to empower you to achieve your artistic vision and do amazing work that both serves your clients and nourishes your creative soul.
The hero's journey is a test of character, strength, and skill. As the hero of your story, having a mentor to guide you through the challenges in your journey in the photography industry is incredibly important. After years of making many mistakes and finding a lot of success, I want to be the mentor that I never had (but needed!) to other aspiring creatives. Whether you’re a part-time hobbyist or have a dream to become a full-time photographer, I would be honored to do whatever I can to provide you with the tools you need to succeed as you begin your adventure in the world of creative entrepreneurship. The world needs your art and the beautiful stories it has to tell!
This creative business mentorship program is carefully tailored to meet the goals of the mentee. Expect to have fun – you’re working on your passion, after all. Expect to have patience for yourself, because learning new skills isn't always easy. Expect great things from yourself – you have so much potential. You are embarking on a new chapter of your journey, and I’m grateful to be there to support you!
Now and always, I’m honored to serve as a mentor for female entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs of color, and entrepreneurs from the LGBTQIA+ community. If you’ve ever felt like there isn’t space for you in the world of professional creatives, I’m here to tell you that you do belong, and your work is more necessary than ever. I want to help you realize that you have the power to create amazing things and give you permission to be your confident, amazing self in your business and your art.
Choose Your Path
We have four different paths for you to get closer to your photography goals! The Styled Photoshoot & Strategy and Creative Business Accelerator can be booked repeatedly to support your ongoing business growth and are billed monthly or hourly.
All include an initial 30-minute discovery call to define your photography business goals and challenges and to help you know which path is right for you.

Let's Connect
I'm so excited to work with you! Whenever you’re ready to start your hero’s journey, you can directly book the package you would like on this page or reach out via the contact form if you would like help on choosing which package is right for you.
From there, I’ll send over the agreement and invoice to book the mentoring session(s). Once those are completed, we can get started.
Send me a DM on Instagram (@corineolarte) or email me at hello@corineolarte.com if you have any questions.

When will I receive my photos after the photoshoot? What is your turnaround time? All packages have a standard 14-day turnaround time. For our Heroes and Legends package, which includes personalized image selection, this 14-day period encompasses the following steps: I send out your proof gallery. I receive your notification that you have finished choosing your favorite photos. I edit the selected photos and send the final images back to you. Definitely keep this in mind, especially if you have any deadlines or due dates you need to meet! Rush edits are available on an individual basis with a rush charge.

Do you direct posing? I’m kinda nervous...Yes, I GOT YOU! If you feel a bit nervous about posing, I promise you you’re not alone. Posing for model photography can be an unfamiliar experience that takes you out of your comfort zone, and everyone I work with feels those nerves on the day of the shoot. But posing for photoshoots is not some magical quality you’re simply born with – it’s a skill that you practice and learn over time. We all have the capability to showcase our unique beauty in front of the camera, and as your photographer, I’ll be there to direct posing and make sure you look good (and feel good about looking good)!

Can you photoshop/retouch my skin?Yes, but I will only remove or change things that are not a permanent, essential part of who you are! I never do any type of body modification, because it can contribute to negative body image, which we’re all trying to fight against. The genuine representation of your body and your beauty is incredibly important in all of our journeys towards self-acceptance and self-compassion. I want you to love yourself how you are in the present!

What is the timeframe for completing the mentorship? To keep things rolling smoothly and ensure you get the most out of our time together, we'll aim to wrap up all our sessions within two (2) months from our initial strategy call or the first business accelerator session. If you need to reschedule, just give me a heads-up at least seven days in advance. Since this is a personalized journey, please note that once we kick things off with the initial payment, there are no cancellations or refunds.
-
What level of photography do I need to be at to sign up for mentorship?Any level! No experience required. Each mentorship is carefully curated to match the goals and needs of each mentee.
-
What equipment do I need for the mentorship? You'll need the basics to make the most of this experience, like a Digital SLR or mirrorless camera, and some editing software. If you're scratching your head about where to start or need some guidance on getting your hands on the right equipment, just let me know. We'll figure it out together.
-
I’m not sure what I need to work on. Do you help with figuring that out?Absolutely! When we’re getting started with any pursuit, it’s hard to know right off the bat which areas of our work need improvement. Part of our mentoring session can be dedicated to pinpointing your strengths and identifying areas where we could develop your skills further. Together we’ll figure out the direction we need to go!

How do I pay for the mentorship? You can use your debit or credit card, do a bank transfer, or go with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Link, all through my Pixieset payment system. Or, if you prefer, I also take Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, and PayPal. Need a little wiggle room? My Pixieset payment system offers flexible payment plans with Affirm and Klarna.
